The MycoFog is a low cost, fully portable incubator bio decontamination unit which may be used for decontaminating many different types and brands of incubators on the market. This smart, piezo driven nebulizing instrument is battery powered, rechargeable and offers great flexibility for incubator users.
These incubator bio decontamination units aerosolize a propriatary 7.8% vaporized hydrogen peroxide solution which come as prepacked, air sealed, measured dose, ready-to-use pods. These units can however be used with any H2O2 formulation, provided the concentration is in the range of 7.5% to 7.8%. This instrument comfortably achieves a 10 to the 6 log kill on biological indicators.
The MycoFog allows incubator users to quickly, easily, and effectively bio decontaminate their incubators of all biological contaminants that may compromise experimental outcomes. The MycoFog can make a substantial contribution to a laboratory’s contamination control procedures.
