Remote particle counters are widely used in many industries and applications for monitoring particles in fixed locations. Examples include cleanrooms, biological safety cabinets, LAF cabinets, pharmaceutical isolators, hot cells, hospitals, compounding facilities and more. Our staff have over 36 years of experience supplying different brands, makes and models of remote particle counters and installing particle and or environmental monitoring systems (EMS) into facilities across Australasia.

Remote particle counters come in PUMP based versions and NON PUMP based versions, where an external vacuum system or source is required. Both versions are quite popular and are commonly used. Met One 6000 Series Remote Particle Counters

Manufactured by Beckman Coulter, Met One 6000 series remote particle counters are highly accurate and reliable remote sensors designed for continuous particle monitoring in cleanrooms and controlled environments. They come in 2.8 LPM and 28.3 LPM versions and are designed for use with an external vacuum system or source.

There are various models in the 6000 series offering different flow rate and communications options. Their optics are VHP compatible and an optional stainless steel enclosure is also available for applications where the particle counter itself will be exposed to harsh cleaning chemicals and or VHP decontamination.

These models offer onboard data storage and many other key features and they are easily intergrated into BMS, EMS and SCADA systems while also being fully compatible with the latest Pharmagraph environmental monitoring platforms.

They incorporate the latest long life laser diode technology and they may be easily mounted on cleanroom walls, on the back of biological safety cabinets, LAF cabinets, on isolators, hot cells, filling machines and other equipment. Overall, they are designed for long term trouble free reliable operation.

Met One 7000 Series Remote Particle Counters

Manufactured by Beckman Coulter, Met One 7000 series remote particle counters are highly accurate fully enclosed industrial grade particle sensors designed for continuous particle monitoring in cleanrooms and controlled environments. Like the 6000 series, they have a small footprint and come in 2.8 LPM and 28.3 LPM versions and are designed for use with an external vacuum system or source.

There are various models in the 7000 series offering different flow rate and communications options. The optics and the instrument itself is totally sealed and is VHP compatible. There is NO requirement for additional enclosures or brackets to protect the instrument in harsh environments.

The 7000 series also feature industry first built in solenoid technology to protect the particle counter and these models come complete with an ISO probe and full installation kit which is NOT normally provided with particle counters and would otherwise cost the customer and or system integrators considerably more money.

These models offer onboard data storage and many other key features and they are easily intergrated into BMS, EMS and SCADA systems while also being fully compatible with the latest Pharmagraph environmental monitoring platforms.

Met One 6000P Series Remote Particle Counters

Manufactured by Beckman Coulter, Met One 6000P series remote particle counters are highly accurate and reliable remote sensors designed for continuous particle monitoring in cleanrooms and controlled environments. They come in 2.8 LPM and 28.3 LPM versions and are designed with a built-in vacuum pump. This allows for easy deployment in the field without the need for an external vacuum source.

There are various models in the 6000P series offering different flow rate and communications options. Their optics are VHP compatible and an optional stainless steel enclosure is also available for applications where the particle counter itself will be exposed to harsh cleaning chemicals and or VHP decontamination.

These models offer onboard data storage and many other key features and they are easily intergrated into BMS, EMS and SCADA systems while also being fully compatible with the latest Pharmagraph environmental monitoring platforms.

Particles Plus 9000 Series Remote Particle Counters

Manufactured by Particles Plus in the USA, the 9000 series of remote particle counters are highly accurate feature packed sensors for continuous particle monitoring in cleanrooms and controlled environments.

They have a small footprint and come in 2.8 LPM and 28.3 LPM versions and are designed for use with an external vacuum system or source. Some models however do feature a built-in pump for easy deployment in the field.

There are various models in Particles Plus range, some of which are featured in this area. They come housed in a light weight stainless steel enclosure and they are fully compliant with the latest ISO 21501-4 standards.

These instruments offer a massive 65,000 sample data storage, many communications options, up to 30 particle size channels (selected models) and much more.

There is NO requirement for an external enclosure and they are easily intergrated into BMS, EMS and SCADA systems while also being fully compatible with the latest Pharmagraph environmental monitoring platforms.

Custom Built Solutions

Particle counting is conducted in many different environments and fields. Equipment is required to be mounted in a wide variety of locations (on walls, in walls, under machinery, inside equipment, and so on. Sometimes your typical particle counter just won’t cut it and or is not fit for the purpose and this is where custom-built designs and solutions come into play.
