Handheld Particle Counters

Handheld particle counters may be used with a high pressure diffuser for gas particle monitoring applications. The diffuser is used to connect the particle counter to the high pressure air or gas source and drop the flow down to match the flow of the particle counter. Beckman Coulter offer a range of low cost, high quality Met One handheld particle counters and high pressure diffusers (shown below) for monitoring particles in compressed air and gases.

Beckman Coulter Met One portable particle counters are commonly used for gas particle monitoring. Beckman Coulter offer a range of Met One high pressure gas diffusers which are shown below. These diffusers are used to connect the particle counter to the high pressure air or gas source and drop the flow down to match the flow of the particle counter.

Micron View Portable Particle Counters

Micron View portable particle counters are well adapted for gas particle monitoring. Micron View offer a range of state-of-the-art portable particle counters with optional high pressure diffusers as shown below. Their high pressure diffusers are highly flexible and may be used with particle counters operating at 28.3, 50 and 100 LPM which is quite unique and offers customers great flexibility. Their same diffusers may also be used with many microbial air samplers for microbial monitoring in compressed air and gases.

High Pressure Diffusers

Our high pressure diffusers from Micron View, Beckman Coulter and other global suppliers decompress compressed gas to atmospheric pressure in real-time and deliver it to the back end sampling device (particle counter or microbial air sampler). They are suitable for sampling non-flammable, non-toxic, clean, compressed gasses such as dry air, nitrogen, argon and carbon dioxide. Models are generally available to support flow rates of 2.83 LPM, 28.3LPM, 50LPM and 100LPM and they may be easily disassembled for cleaning and disinfecting.
