Alpha Scientific offers a wide range of professional microbial air samplers which may be used for compressed air and gas microbial monitoring in accordance with ISO 8573-4, EU GMP Annex 1 and other international standards. These samplers are very flexible and may be used for monitoring cleanrooms, biological safety cabinets and other controlled environments, however when combined with a high pressure diffuser, they may be used for accurately and reliably monitoring particulates in compressed air and gases.

Gas Microbial Monitoring

Undertaking gas microbial monitoring and or particle monitoring in compressed air and gases requires the use of a high pressure gas diffuser. A high pressure diffuser decompresses compressed gas to atmospheric pressure in real-time and delivers it to the sampling device (particle counter or microbial air sampler).

These devices are suitable for gas microbial monitoring of non-flammable, non-toxic, clean, compressed gasses such as dry air, nitrogen, argon and carbon dioxide. Models are generally available to support flow rates of 2.83 LPM, 28.3LPM, 50LPM and 100LPM and they may be easily disassembled for cleaning and disinfecting.
