Description
The Junray ZR-G07 is a portable particle diluter for use with cleanroom style particle counters and other particle instruments on the market which operate at 28.3 LPM. It features a 1:70 or 1:100 dilution rate, is suitable for particles up to 50um in size, its manufactured from stainless steel, weighs only 4Kg and it’s a very handy portable device for protecting particle instruments against contamination, damage and coincidence errors.
All particle counters and measurement instruments have concentration limits and the higher the concentration of particles any device is exposed to, the higher the risk of contaminating the instrument. Once instruments become contaminated, they typically need to be sent back to the supplier or manufacturer for costly cleaning and re-calibrating and this costs customers valuable down time and money.
This is where diluters step in. Aerosol diluters such as the Junray ZR-G07 have existed for many years and are widely used throughout the world. They allow particle instruments to be used in much dirtier environments than they were generally designed to work in and they safeguard the instrument by diluting the sample to this effect.
Applications can vary from working in a pharmaceutical cleanroom, hospital or laboratory to making indoor air quality and or outdoor air quality measurements. Many companies have particle counters and measurement instruments where they wish to monitor different environments at times where their particle instruments may be put at risk
