The Shimadzu SALD-201V particle size analyzer is a compact, economically priced instrument that offers high performance and reliable features for a wide range of food, liquid, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical applications. A measuring range of 250nm to 350µm accommodates most routine analysis requirements. There are 2 versions of this device available. The Batch Cell model is a simple unit, consisting only of the analyzer unit and a batch cell and this is recommended for analysis of light particles. The Batch Cell & Flow Through Cell model consists of the analyzer unit, a batch cell, a sampler, and a flow-thru cell. This model provides a wider measuring range than the previous model.
