Aerosol Photometers

Aerosol Photometers

Aerosol photometers are devices used for testing and evaluating the performance of filters, particularly those used in air filtration systems. Aerosol photometers measure the upstream and downstream concentration of airborne particles, allowing for the assessment of filter efficiency and performance.

Alpha Scientific offers the most advanced and reliable aerosol photometers of their type on the market, based on our decades of experience in supplying these types of instruments to industry. Our aerosol photometers are extensively used throughout Australasia and the world for testing HEPA filters in cleanrooms, controlled environments and for other HEPA filter testing applications.

Our aerosol photometers & accessories may be used to test HEPA filters in accordance with the latest AS 1807:2021, ISO 14644-3:2021 and other local and global standards. They may also be used to test negative pressure units (NPU) and H class vacuum cleaners in the asbestos, silica and related industries.

Aerosol Photometers

Aerosol photometers are commonly used by testing and certification companies, HEPA filter manufacturers, cleanroom operators and many other organizations. They may be used with or without aerosol generators to make accurate and reliable measurements. Particle counters, ventilation test intruments and other equipment sold by Alpha Scientific is also commonly used by many of these organizations.
